Today's spotlight is a special one for one of our youngest team members (Sierra Vintin) who just hit her 1 year milestone. Coming to us right after graduating from Appalachian State with a degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising, Sierra is multi talented in all facets of the business. On any given day you can find her working custom suiting appointments, managing (and sewing) our alterations, designing custom linings...the list goes on. It has been such a pleasure to have her as part of the team and below is our recent sit down with her so that we could share a little more about her to all of you!

This past month OLE MASON JAR celebrated 5 years of being in business, a huge milestone considering most startups (especially fashion) don’t survive more than a couple of years. It’s been marked on our calendar for years and it feels extra special for us to reach something that was so far off in the distance for so long. We are so honored to be selected as winners of the 2017 Made in North Carolina Style Category by Our State Magazine! Our state magazine holds a very special place in our hearts as one of North Carolina's premier publications, and we couldn't be more excited about this achievement!

There are some days when an off-the-rack suit won't cut it. Getting drafted into the NBA is one of those days. The team at Mason Custom by OLE MASON JAR worked closely with the Charlotte based style studio AZSN to create one-of-a-kind looks for four players in last month's draft.

If you had asked us a year ago, shoot...even 6 months ago, we would have admitted we were still a few years out from actually moving into a physical retail space of our own. Somehow though, despite countless excuses and reasons to why we didn't think we were ready, we simply went for it...and couldn't be happier that we did!

 This past weekend, we packed up our stuff and headed to Atlanta, GA for #AMERICANFIELD, an all American Made pop up featuring some of the best brands who make their products in the USA. 

We are thrilled to introduce our first collection of sport coats! A multi-year project in the making, the hard work and passion has finally paid off. The result...some pretty incredible sport coats, all handmade right here in the USA.
